The Marlington Dukes softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Alliance Aviators to 1 in the Dukes league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Marlington improves its record to 19-4 on the year. The Dukes host Dalton (Dalton, OH) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, May 3. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 14-6. Dalton won 5-4 in their recent non-league game against Manchester (Akron, OH)

In their next game, the Aviators clash with the Southeast Pirates (Ravenna, OH) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 3. Alliance will attempt to improve on its 6-15 season record. The Pirates come into the game with a 8-2 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Boardman (Youngstown, OH).
