Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Falcons (Grove City, MN) and the host Maple Lake Irish (Maple Lake, MN), witnessed Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City's softball squad tip Maple Lake by a count of 15-12.

The Falcons now sport a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa for a non-league match on Monday, May 6.

With the loss, Maple Lake moves to 1-8 on the season. The Irish travel to Proctor (Proctor, MN) to face the Rails in a non-league match on Saturday, May 4. The Rails go into the match with a record of 11-1. Proctor won 6-0 in their recent league match against Denfeld (Duluth, MN)
