Pennsylvania High School Softball - Bangor gets by Saucon Valley

May 2, 2024: Bangor, PA 18013

The Bangor Slaters (Bangor, PA) softball nipped the visiting Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA), 4-3 in Thursday's league bout.

The Slaters (5-13) will now prepare for their bout against Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA). The Green Knights go into the Colonial - East bout with a 6-9 record. In their last bout, Pen Argyl held off Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA), 7-3, in a non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Northern Lehigh for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 4. Saucon Valley will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-5.
