Liberty Charter Lions (Alpine, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Bonsall Legionnaires (Bonsall, CA), 26-3 in a league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 19-5 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop's for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6. Liberty Charter will face a Knights squad coming off a 21-1 league win over Guajome Park Academy (Vista, CA). The Knights record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Bonsall falls to 11-6 on the campaign. The Legionnaires travel to Ocean View Christian (San Diego, CA) to face the Patriots in a Summit challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 6-6. Ocean View Christian lost 15-1 in their recent league challenge against Bayfront Charter (Chula Vista, CA)
