The Brick Memorial Mustangs softball team (Brick, NJ), was routed 3-0 in Thursday's league test with the host Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ)

Coming up next, the Golden Eagles encounter the Toms River South Indians (Toms River, NJ) in a Shore - A South test, on Monday, May 6. Central Regional will attempt to improve on its 13-2 season record. The Indians enter the test with a 7-11 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ).

The Mustangs (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Lacey Township was routed by Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ), 11-1, in a league test.
