Virginia High School Softball - Buffalo Gap gets by Stuarts Draft

The Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) softball nipped the visiting Stuarts Draft Cougars (Stuarts Draft, VA), 6-5 in Thursday's league bout.
The Bison (10-2) will now prepare for their bout against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Green Hornets go into the Shenandoah bout with a 5-11 record. In their last bout, Wilson Memorial held off Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA), 9-2, in a non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Staunton for a Shenandoah contest on Tuesday, May 7. Stuarts Draft will play a Storm team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Storm record now stands at 2-12.
