Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Philomath/Alsea (Philomath, OR), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 18-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Marion for a 4A Oregon West challenge on Monday, May 6. Cascade will face a Huskies squad coming off a 21-11 league win over Newport (Newport, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 3-13.

With the loss, Philomath/Alsea falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The host Stayton (Stayton, OR) to face the Eagles in a 4A Oregon West challenge on Monday, May 6. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 15-4. Stayton won 12-1 in their recent league challenge against Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR)
