The Central Cass Squirrels routed the host Hankinson/Campbell-Tintah/Fairmount Rebels softball squad by a count of 20-1 in Thursday's league battle.
The Squirrels (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Thompson (Thompson, ND). The Tommies go into the non-league battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Thompson topped Grand Forks Central (Grand Forks, ND), 19-8, in a non-league battle.
The Rebels now sport a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Northern Cass for a Class B - Region 1 battle on Monday, May 6. Hankinson/Campbell-Tintah/Fairmount will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Fargo South (Fargo, ND). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-9.
