The Champlain Valley Union Redhawks softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Mt. Mansfield Cougars to 9 in the Redhawks league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Champlain Valley Union moves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Redhawks travel to Essex (Essex Junction, VT) to clash with the Hornets in a Metro game on Saturday, May 4. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 2-1. Essex won 25-1 in their recent non-league game against South Burlington (South Burlington, VT)
