The Garden City Buffaloes softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Dodge City Demons to 12 in the Buffaloes non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Garden City improves its record to 7-10 on the year. The Buffaloes travel to Scott (Scott City, KS) to clash with the Beavers in a non-league game on Friday, May 3. The Beavers come into the game with a record of 13-3. Scott won 15-5 in their recent non-league game against Hugoton (Hugoton, KS)

In their next game, the Demons clash with the Liberal Redskins (Liberal, KS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 7. Dodge City will attempt to improve on its 2-19 season record. The Redskins come into the game with a 3-11 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to Hays (Hays, KS).
