Union Grove Broncos (Union Grove, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Elkhorn Elks (Elkhorn, WI), 11-3 in a league challenge.

The Broncos now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashwaubenon for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 4. Union Grove will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Green Bay Preble (Green Bay, WI). The Jaguars record now stands at 16-1.

With the loss, Elkhorn falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Elks travel to Hartford (Hartford, WI) to face the Orioles in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. The Orioles enter the challenge with a record of 9-6. Hartford won 8-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Homestead (Mequon, WI)
