Liberty Indians (Liberty, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Fallsburg Comets (Fallsburg, NY), 22-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chester for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6.

With the loss, Fallsburg falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Ellenville (Ellenville, NY) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 5-5. Ellenville lost 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Pine Plains (Pine Plains, NY)
