In Thursday's league contest, the Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Farrell Steelers (Farrell, PA), by a margin of 12-2.

With the triumph, Sharpsville moves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA) to play the Greyhounds in a District 10 Region 1 contest on Tuesday, May 7. The Greyhounds come into the contest with a record of 9-2. Wilmington won 18-2 in their recent league contest against Farrell (Farrell, PA)

In their next game, the Steelers play the Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 contest, on Friday, May 3. Farrell will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Greyhounds come into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 1-0 league win over West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA).
