Michigan High School Softball - Montague loses to Fruitport

May 2, 2024: Fruitport, MI 49415

The Fruitport Trojans softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Montague Wildcats to 8 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Fruitport moves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Trojans travel to Coopersville (Coopersville, MI) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 7. The Broncos come into the game with a record of 17-2.

Next up, the Wildcats meet the Manistee Chippewas (Manistee, MI) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 7. Montague will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record.
