The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) and the host Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL), saw Glenbard East's softball squad nip Glenbard South by a count of 5-4.

The Rams now sport a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fenton for a Upstate Eight match on Monday, May 6. Glenbard East will face a Bison squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Bison record now stands at 13-12.

With the loss, Glenbard South falls to 7-15 on the campaign. The Raiders host Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, May 4. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 15-7. Riverside-Brookfield won 12-2 in their recent league match against Ridgewood (Norridge, IL)
