Harbor Creek Huskies (Harborcreek, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA), 27-0 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seneca for a District 10 Region 3 challenge on Friday, May 3. Harbor Creek will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 12-4 league win over North East (North East, PA). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Mercyhurst Prep falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Lakers host Seneca (Erie, PA) to battle the Bobcats in a District 10 Region 3 challenge on Monday, May 13. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-7.
