Henry Hudson Admirals (Highlands, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lakewood Piners (Lakewood, NJ), 20-2 in a league challenge.

The Admirals now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brick Township for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. Henry Hudson will battle a Green Dragons squad coming off a 16-13 league loss to Toms River North (Toms River, NJ). The Green Dragons record now stands at 0-13.

With the loss, Lakewood falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Piners travel to Point Pleasant Beach (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ) to battle the Garnet Gulls in a Shore - B Central challenge on Monday, May 6. The Garnet Gulls enter the challenge with a record of 9-2. Point Pleasant Beach won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Keyport (Keyport, NJ)
