In Thursday's league contest, the Woodland Warriors (Streator, IL) softball team held off the visiting Henry-Senachwine Mallards (Henry, IL), by a margin of 2-1.
With the triumph, Woodland moves its record to 12-8 on the year. The Warriors host Dwight (Dwight, IL) to play the Trojans in a Tri-County contest on Monday, May 6. The Titans come into the contest with a 3-13 record after their 12-8 non-league loss to Herscher (Herscher, IL).
