St. Clair Saints (St. Clair, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders (Macomb, MI), 7-6 in a league challenge.

The Saints now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeview for a Macomb Area - White challenge on Tuesday, May 7. St. Clair will face a Huskies squad coming off a 12-1 league win over Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, L'Anse Creuse North falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Fraser (Fraser, MI) to face the Ramblers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 8. The Ramblers enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
