Ohio High School Softball - McDonald bounces Springfield

The McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) softball routed the visiting Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH), 8-1 in Thursday's league bout.

The Blue Devils (12-2) will now prepare for their bout against Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH). The Bluejays go into the Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet bout with a 9-4 record.

The Tigers now possess a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to Memorial for a non-league bout on Friday, May 3. Springfield will confront a Red Devils squad coming off a 13-1 league win over Liberty (Youngstown, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 10-10.
