The Mercer Mustangs softball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Reynolds Raiders to 1 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Mercer improves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Mustangs host West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA) to clash with the Big Reds in a District 10 Region 1 game on Tuesday, May 7. The Big Reds come into the game with a record of 4-5. West Middlesex lost 1-0 in their recent league game against Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA)

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Lakeview Sailors (Stoneboro, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 game, on Tuesday, May 7. Reynolds will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Sailors come into the game with a 2-8 record after their 12-0 league loss to Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA).
