The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Seneca Bobcats (Erie, PA) and the visiting North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA), saw Seneca's softball squad achieve victory over North East by a count of 12-4.

The Bobcats now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Harbor Creek for a District 10 Region 3 match on Friday, May 3. Seneca will face a Huskies squad coming off a 27-0 league win over Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA). The Huskies record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, North East falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Grape pickers host General McLane (Edinboro, PA) to face the Lancers in a non-league match on Monday, May 6. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 3-10. General McLane lost 17-1 in their recent non-league match against Union City (Union City, PA)
