The Orangeville Broncos nipped the visiting Pearl City Wolves softball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's league battle.

The Broncos (18-7) will now prepare for their battle against Durand (Durand, IL). The Bulldogs go into the Northwest Upstate Illini - North battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Durand held off Winnebago (Winnebago, IL), 12-11, in a non-league battle.

The Wolves now possess a 13-8 record. They play next when they host Eastland for a non-league battle on Monday, May 6. Pearl City will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Milledgeville (Milledgeville, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 14-5.
