New York High School Baseball - Williamsville East prevails Amherst Central

The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Williamsville East Flames (East Amherst, NY) and the host Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY), saw Williamsville East's baseball team beat Amherst Central by a margin of 11-2.
The Flames (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Canisius (Buffalo, NY). The Crusaders enter the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Canisius was overwhelmed by Nichols (Buffalo, NY), 8-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Tigers face the Sweet Home Panthers (Amherst, NY) in a ECIC II battle, on Tuesday, May 6. Amherst Central will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 4-4 record after their 11-10 non-league loss to Frontier (Hamburg, NY).
