The Wildcats (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Cheney (Cheney, KS). The Cardinals enter the non-league battle with a 14-4 record. In their last battle, Cheney was tipped by Trinity Academy (Wichita, KS), 5-4, in a league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Eisenhower Tigers (Goddard, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division II battle, on Monday, May 5. Arkansas City will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 11-6 record after their 7-4 league win over Andover Central (Andover, KS).
