The Taft School Big Red baseball squad (Watertown, CT), was overwhelmed 18-4 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT)
With the triumph, Avon Old Farms moves its record to 13-3 on the season. The Beavers host Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA) to confront the Big Green in a non-league contest on Monday, May 5. The Big Green come into the contest with a record of 10-4. Deerfield Academy won 13-3 in their recent league contest against Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA)
The Big Red now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kent School for a Founders contest on Wednesday, May 7.
