The Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park Hawks baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Back of the Yards College Prep Bobcats to 8 in the Hawks non-league win on Friday.

The Hawks now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cristo Rey Jesuit for a non-league test on Monday, May 5. Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park will play a Cristeros team coming off a 27-0 league loss to Holy Trinity (Chicago, IL). The Cristeros record now stands at 4-10.

With the defeat, Back of the Yards College Prep drops to 1-10 on the year. The Bobcats host Hancock (Chicago, IL) to play the Eagles in a Chicago Public - American 1 test on Monday, May 5. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 12-12. Hancock won 11-0 in their recent league test against Hubbard (Chicago, IL)
