The Waterford Wolverines baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Beloit Memorial Purple Knights to 2 in the Wolverines league win on Friday.
The Wolverines now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westosha Central for a Southern Lakes test on Monday, May 5. Waterford will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Waukesha West (Waukesha, WI). The Falcons record now stands at 8-6.
With the defeat, Beloit Memorial drops to 3-8 on the year. The Purple knights host Badger (Lake Geneva, WI) to clash with the Badgers in a Southern Lakes test on Monday, May 5. The Badgers come into the match with a record of 10-5. Badger lost 2-0 in their recent league match against Union Grove (Union Grove, WI)
