Kansas High School Baseball - Bluestem edges Erie

The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Bluestem Lions (Leon, KS) and the host Erie Red Devils (Erie, KS), saw Bluestem's baseball team gain a win over Erie by a tally of 4-1.

The Lions (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Cherryvale (Cherryvale, KS). The Chargers enter the Tri-Valley battle with a 6-12 record. In their last battle, Cherryvale held off Eureka (Eureka, KS), 17-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Red Devils face the Eureka Tornadoes (Eureka, KS) in a Tri-Valley battle, on Monday, May 5. Erie will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Tornadoes enter the battle with a 0-13 record after their 17-1 league loss to Cherryvale (Cherryvale, KS).
