The Brownwood Lions baseball team scored 2 runs and held the host Estacado Matadors to 1 in the Lions non-league win on Friday.
The Lions now own a 13-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Estacado for a non-league test on Saturday, May 3. Brownwood will clash with a Matadors team coming off a 1-0 league win over Lake View (San Angelo, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 13-15.
