The Chaparral Lobos baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Silver Fighting Colts to 1 in the Lobos league win on Friday.
The Lobos now own a 15-11 record. They take the field next when they host Silver for a 4A District 3 test on Friday, May 2. Chaparral will play a Fighting Colts team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Fighting Colts record now stands at 5-17.
With the defeat, Silver drops to 5-19 on the year. The Fighting colts travel to Chaparral (Chaparral, NM) to play the Lobos in a 4A District 3 test on Friday, May 2. The Lobos go into the test with a record of 13-11. Chaparral won 23-9 in their recent league test against Silver (Silver City, NM)
