The Charlestown Townies baseball team scored 20 runs and held the visiting Everett Crimson Tide to 5 in the Townies non-league win on Friday.

The Townies now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Boston for a non-league test on Monday, May 5. Charlestown will clash with a Knights team coming off a 8-6 league loss to Madison Park RVT/McKinley RVT (Roxbury, MA). The Knights record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Everett drops to 7-6 on the year. The Crimson tide host Lynn Classical (Lynn, MA) to clash with the Rams in a Greater Boston test on Monday, May 5. The Rams go into the test with a record of 9-2. Lynn Classical won 11-4 in their recent non-league test against Saugus (Saugus, MA)
