Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), 9-7 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Charlottesville advances its record to 8-4 on the season. The Black Knights travel to Louisa County (Mineral, VA) to battle the Lions in a Jefferson match on Monday, May 5. The Lions come into the match with a record of 5-7. Louisa County lost 2-0 in their recent league match against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA)

The Little Giants now have a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverheads for a Shenandoah match on Tuesday, May 6. Waynesboro will battle a Gladiators squad coming off a 8-5 league loss to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Gladiators record now stands at 9-3.
