In Friday's non-league game, the visiting DeWitt Panthers baseball team scored a nice 13-5 victory over the Williamston Hornets.
The Panthers (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Grand Ledge (Grand Ledge, MI). The Comets enter the Capital Area - Blue game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, Grand Ledge defeated Fenton (Fenton, MI), 12-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Hornets face the St. Johns Redwings (St. Johns, MI) in a Capital Area - Red game, on Tuesday, May 6. Williamston will attempt to improve on its 18-3 season record.
