The Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) baseball got by the visiting Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD), 1-0 in Friday's league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 15-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wise for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 5. Douglass will clash with a Pumas team coming off a 9-3 league loss to DuVal (Lanham, MD). The Pumas record now stands at 2-15.
With the defeat, Potomac drops to 0-5 on the year.
