In Friday's non-league bout, the Seaholm/Groves Maples (Birmingham, MI) baseball squad the visiting East Lansing Trojans (East Lansing, MI), by a tally of 5-2.
Next up, the Maples encounter the Troy Colts (Troy, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 5. Seaholm/Groves will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record. The Colts enter the bout with a 14-6 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Rochester (Rochester Hills, MI).
The Trojans (3-9) will now prepare for their bout against Waverly (Lansing, MI). The Warriors enter the Capital Area - Blue bout with a 8-3 record. In their last bout, Waverly edged Dansville (Dansville, MI), 11-1, in a non-league bout.
