Michigan High School Baseball - Gaylord defeats Sault Area

The Gaylord Blue Devils baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Sault Area Blue Devils to 2 in the Blue Devils non-league win on Friday.

The Blue Devils now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Traverse City Central for a Big North test on Tuesday, May 6. Gaylord will play a Trojans team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Forest Hills Northern (Grand Rapids, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 6-6.

With the defeat, Sault Area drops to 0-8 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Petoskey (Petoskey, MI) to play the Northmen in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 7. The Northmen go into the test with a record of 7-2.
