In Friday's non-league game, the host Greater Lawrence Tech Reggies baseball team scored a nice 21-9 win over the Notre Dame Cristo Rey Panthers.
The Reggies (3-8) will now prepare for their game against Shawsheen Valley Tech (Billerica, MA). The Rams go into the Commonwealth - Upper game with a 11-0 record. In their last game, Shawsheen Valley Tech knocked off Lowell Catholic (Lowell, MA), 4-1, in a league game.
Next, the Panthers play the Northeast Metro RVT Knights (Wakefield, MA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 6. Notre Dame Cristo Rey will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 3-8 record after their 17-6 non-league win over Revere (Revere, MA).
