In Friday's non-league game, the host Howell Vikings baseball team scored a close 8-1 win over the Marquette Mustangs.
The Vikings (23-2) will now prepare for their game against Marquette (Chesterfield, MO). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 13-7 record. In their last game, Marquette was overwhelmed by Vianney (Kirkwood, MO), 9-4, in a league game.
