The Williamsville North Spartans (Williamsville, NY) baseball trounced the host Jamestown Red & Green (Jamestown, NY), 7-1 in Friday's league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aquinas Institute for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 3. Williamsville North will clash with a Little Irish team coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Corning-Painted Post (Corning, NY). The Little Irish record now stands at 4-4.

With the defeat, Jamestown drops to 1-7 on the year. The Red & green travel to Orchard Park (Orchard Park, NY) to clash with the Quakers in a ECIC I challenge on Monday, May 5. The Quakers go into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Orchard Park won 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Frontier (Hamburg, NY)
