St. John Bosco Braves (Bellflower, CA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting JSerra Catholic Lions (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 2-0 in a league match.
With the triumph, St. John Bosco advances its record to 22-4 on the season. The Braves host Torrance (Torrance, CA) to battle the Tartars in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 7. The Tartars come into the match with a record of 16-9.
The Lions now have a 10-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oaks Christian for a non-league match on Monday, May 5. JSerra Catholic will battle a Lions squad coming off a 9-2 league win over Newbury Park (Newbury Park, CA). The Lions record now stands at 17-8.
