In Friday's league game, the visiting Providence Academy Lions baseball team scored a nice 14-3 win over the Mounds Park Academy Panthers.
The Lions (9-0) will now prepare for their game against Blake (Minneapolis, MN). The Bears go into the Independent Metro Athletic game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Blake was overwhelmed by Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN), 7-6, in a league game.
Next, the Panthers play the St. Paul Academy-Summit Spartans (St. Paul, MN) in a Independent Metro Athletic game, on Monday, May 5. Mounds Park Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Spartans go into the game with a 2-5 record after their 8-2 league loss to Breck (Minneapolis, MN).
