The Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT) baseball trounced the visiting Sheehan Titans (Wallingford, CT), 11-1 in Friday's league challenge.

The Gaels now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Amity Regional for a Southern Connecticut - Oronoque challenge on Monday, May 5. Shelton will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Greenwich (Greenwich, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 12-2.

With the defeat, Sheehan drops to 5-6 on the year. The Titans travel to Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT) to clash with the Jesuits in a non-league test on Monday, May 5. The Jesuits go into the test with a record of 10-7. Fairfield Prep lost 8-6 in their recent non-league test against Pope Francis Prep (Springfield, MA)
