Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA) and the visiting James River Knights (Buchanan, VA), saw Waynesboro's soccer squad knock off James River by a count of 4-1.

The Little Giants (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Riverheads (Staunton, VA). The Gladiators enter the Shenandoah battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Riverheads by Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA), 5-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Knights confront the Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Wednesday, May 7. James River will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record.
