Pinckneyville Panthers (Pinckneyville, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Massac County Patriots (Metropolis, IL), 5-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Pinckneyville advances its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL) to clash with the Rams in a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. The Rams come into the test with a record of 8-7.

The Patriots now have a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they host Vienna for a non-league test on Monday, May 5.
