The Riverbend Bears soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting North Stafford Wolverines to 0 in the Bears league victory on Friday.
The Bears now hold a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Colonial Forge for a Commonwealth bout on Tuesday, May 6. Riverbend will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Mountain View (Stafford, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, North Stafford moves to 1-10 on the year. The Wolverines host Stafford (Falmouth, VA) to play the Indians in a Commonwealth bout on Tuesday, May 6. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Stafford lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Brooke Point (Stafford, VA)
