The North Kingstown Skippers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts to 4 in the Skippers non-league win on Friday.
The Skippers now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Cranston West for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. North Kingstown will play a Falcons team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Falcons record now stands at 7-3.
With the defeat, Cranston East drops to 0-6 on the year. The Thunderbolts host La Salle Academy (Providence, RI) to play the Rams in a non-league test on Monday, May 5. The Rams go into the test with a record of 2-0.
