The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Creighton Prep Junior Jays (Omaha, NE) and the host Papillion-LaVista South Titans (Papillion, NE), saw Creighton Prep's baseball team gain a win over Papillion-LaVista South by a tally of 8-0.
The Junior Jays (15-5) will now prepare for their battle against Millard West (Omaha, NE). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Millard West prevailed over Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE), 7-4, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Titans face the Lincoln Southeast Knights (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 2. Papillion-LaVista South will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 9-14 record after their 4-3 league loss to Columbus (Columbus, NE).
