The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Poquoson Islanders (Poquoson, VA) and the host Jamestown Eagles (Williamsburg, VA), saw Poquoson's baseball team gain a win over Jamestown by a tally of 6-0.

The Islanders (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against York (Yorktown, VA). The Falcons enter the non-league battle with a 2-9 record.

With the defeat, Jamestown drops to 5-4 on the year. The Eagles host New Kent (New Kent, VA) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 5. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 11-1. New Kent won 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Tabb (Yorktown, VA)
