The Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA) baseball trounced the host Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA), 23-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Majors now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Edison for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 6. Mount Vernon will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 17-5 non-league win over Falls Church (Falls Church, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.
With the defeat, Lewis drops to 0-2 on the year. The Lancers travel to Justice (Falls Church, VA) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Wolves go into the challenge with a record of 1-10.
